port has reached a pivotal era in its evolution. We can no longer assume the
elements of sport itself will fulfill our needs in a changing environment. Sport still
possesses the inherent intention of preserving its most valuable and irreplaceable
assets - people and tradition. However, as the needs of the population change, so
too must the scope of sport. And so, the future success of sports entertainment
rests on the shoulders of its innovative leaders, who can direct 'change' and
understand the industry's constituents. Leaders who are prepared for all seasons
of sport, and of life, will provide the guidance for sports entertainment and
illuminate its path.
